Phone Analyzer
Privacy Policy
Last updated September 23, 2026
This privacy policy explains how Phone Analyzer (“the app”) handles information. The app is published by DRC App Studio. Phone Analyzer is a paid, on-device system utility designed to inspect device hardware, operating system specifications, storage, battery, network status, and live sensor readings.
At a glance
- No data collection: Nothing is sent to DRC App Studio, and no user data is collected.
- No accounts: There is no sign-up, login, or profile creation.
- No advertising or tracking: No advertising SDKs, tracking frameworks, or analytics tools are included.
- 100% on-device: All diagnostics and specifications remain exclusively on the phone or tablet.
What the app reads
Phone Analyzer queries local operating system APIs to display diagnostic details about the device you are holding:
- Hardware identity: Marketing name, internal hardware model identifier, brand, manufacturer, device year class, and CPU architecture.
- System & OS: Operating system version, kernel build ID, uptime since boot, and basic runtime integrity indicators.
- Memory & Storage: RAM visible to the operating system, and total, used, and free disk space expressed in both decimal (GB) and binary (GiB) units.
- Display & Accessibility: Screen resolution, pixel ratio, font scale, appearance mode, brightness, screen reader status, bold text, and reduce motion flags.
- Battery & Power: Charge percentage, battery state (charging, unplugged, full), and low power mode status.
- Network: Connection interface type (Wi-Fi, Cellular, Offline), local subnet IP address, and connection reachability.
- Live sensors: Real-time readings from accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and barometer (where hardware sensors are present). Sensor monitoring automatically stops when leaving the Live tab.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not operate user accounts, databases, analytics servers, or advertising networks for Phone Analyzer. We do not collect or log your device details, network addresses, identifiers, or sensor telemetry.
App updates
When Phone Analyzer opens or returns to the foreground, it queries Expo’s update service to check whether a newer JavaScript interface bundle is available, and applies it if present. This standard check does not transmit or include any of the device specifications, hardware identifiers, or sensor readings displayed in the app.
Sharing and exporting
The app provides an optional feature to copy or share a plain-text report of the current device readings. This report is generated locally on the device. When you choose to share, it invokes the native operating system share sheet. The report is transmitted only to the destination you explicitly choose.
Permissions & OS privacy boundaries
Phone Analyzer does not request sensitive permissions such as fine location, camera, microphone, or contacts. On modern iOS and Android versions, certain radio identifiers, Wi-Fi network names (SSID), and carrier details are protected or withheld by the operating system. Phone Analyzer respects these system boundaries and transparently marks withheld values as “Hidden by iOS” or “Unavailable” rather than attempting workarounds.
Children’s privacy
Phone Analyzer is a general hardware utility for devices owned by the user. It is not directed to children under 13, and it does not collect personal information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy is updated, the revised version will be published on this page with an updated date. See also our general Terms of Use.
