Cliff Jumper
Privacy Policy
Last updated September 15, 2026
This policy explains what information Cliff Jumper (“the app”) for iPhone and iPad handles. The app is published by DRC App Studio. There is no sign-up and no account, we run no servers for the app, and we never collect your name, email address, contacts or precise location. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects device data as described below.
At a glance
- No accounts and no analytics SDK.
- Your progress stays on your device and in your own iCloud account.
- Google AdMob serves the ads and collects device and usage data to do so. You control personalization.
- Apple handles purchases, subscriptions and Game Center.
Information stored on your device
Your progress, coins, unlocked heroes, best distances, daily results and settings are saved on your device. The home screen widget reads the same data through a container shared with the app. None of it is sent to us.
On first launch the app creates a random identifier. It is not derived from your hardware, is not linked to your identity, and stays on your device. It exists only to credit offerwall rewards, a feature that is currently turned off (see below).
iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, your progress is synced between your devices with Apple’s iCloud key-value storage. That data lives in your iCloud account under Apple’s Privacy Policy, and we cannot access it.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, the app reads your Game Center display name to show it in the app, and submits your distances and achievements to Cliff Jumper’s leaderboards. Who can see your entries depends on your Game Center settings. Game Center is operated by Apple.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads between runs, plus optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch to revive or to double the coins from a run. Ads are served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect:
- Your IP address and the approximate location derived from it
- Device information such as model, operating system version, language and app version
- Ad interactions, such as which ads were shown or tapped
- Your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking
- Diagnostics about the performance of the ads SDK
Consent. In the European Economic Area, the UK, Switzerland and anywhere else it is required, the app shows Google’s consent message before any ad is requested. Where that applies, you can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Ad privacy choices.
Tracking. The app asks through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before your IDFA can be used. If you decline, Google does not receive it. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Learn more in how Google uses information from apps that use its services and in Google’s Privacy Policy.
Purchases and subscriptions
Coin packs and the Remove Ads subscriptions (monthly and yearly) are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The app confirms your purchases on your device with Apple’s StoreKit to unlock them.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Remove Ads stops the ads between runs; rewarded ads stay available as an optional choice.
Notifications
The app can send a weekly reminder. It is a local notification scheduled on your device, with no push server involved, and it is only delivered if you give permission. You can turn it off in the app’s settings or in iOS Settings → Notifications.
Offerwall
The app includes Tapjoy’s SDK for an optional offerwall that lets players earn coins by trying other apps. It is turned off in the current version, and no data is sent to Tapjoy. If we turn it on, we will update this policy first, including what Tapjoy collects.
Children
Cliff Jumper is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you have concerns about a child’s use of the app, contact us.
Your choices
- Deleting the app removes the data stored on that device.
- To stop syncing progress, turn off iCloud for the app in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud.
- Manage Game Center visibility, or sign out, in iOS Settings → Game Center.
- Use the consent and tracking controls described under Advertising.
- Review ad settings for your Google account at My Ad Center.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as Brazil’s LGPD, the EU and UK GDPR, or California’s CCPA may give you the right to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to how it is used. We do not keep personal information about you on our own systems, so most of this is handled by your device settings and by Apple or Google directly. We are still happy to help with any request.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. See also the Terms of Use.
